Even though I’d been in talk therapy since I was a kid, practicing and teaching yoga for years, and consuming all the self-help resources - it wasn’t until I received regular Somatic Coaching that I finally healed old patterns and saw my inner work stick. Somatic Coaching helped me gain the inner wisdom, clarity, and confidence to calm symptoms of past trauma and create a fulfilling and grounded life.
After receiving the power of somatic coaching in my own life, I knew I wanted to share this with others. Since 2020 I have helped hundreds of clients get out of their heads, into their bodies, and into a life they love. I have been practicing yoga since 2011 and teaching yoga since 2013, so my coaching is highly influenced by yogic philosophy. I am also highly influenced by Western neuroscience and trauma-informed approaches. Most notable in my certifications and training (see all below) is my Somatic Coach Certification with Hakomi Institute. Hakomi has been training therapists for decades in somatic approaches to therapeutic and holistic healing that lasts.
Many of my clients relate my work to therapy, saying things like “This is what I always wished therapy was,” or “This is like therapy except I get to move my body,” or “Between you and my therapist, I know I’m good.” I am not a licensed therapist. My style of Somatic Coaching, however, is very therapeutic.
